Enid Ortiz Killed in Benson NC Bus Accident on Interstate 95

A woman named Enid Ortiz was tragically killed early Sunday morning when a bus crossed the median and forced a car off Interstate 95.  The accident happened around 4:00 am just north of the I-40 interchange in Benson, North Carolina.

According to reports, the driver of the bus apparently fell asleep at the wheel of the bus which is based in Brooklyn, NY.  The bus driver is apparently is critical condition.  Mrs. Ortiz was in the car with her husband and two grandchildren who were injured.
