Early Friday morning in Fayetteville, North Carolina, a serious accident has resulted in critical injuries to a pedestrian named William Whitehead.
According to available information, a driver of a Hyundai Elantra hit Mr. Whitehead near the 7300 block of Raeford Road. The collision happened just after 2:00 a.m. The driver of the Hyundai has been arrested and charged with crimes including driving while impaired. Mr. Whitehead, who is 28 years old, is in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in critical condition.
