A gentleman named James Allen Lucas was killed on Wednesday afternoon in a terrible accident in Garner, North Carolina. The accident happened on the Interstate 40 East ramp to Highway 70 east at around 4:30 pm. According to available information, a Porsche SUV ran off the roadway and struck Mr. Lucas as he was walking. The Porsche also struck a guardrail/bridge structure.
Mr. Lucas was 47 years old and apparently lived in Garner, NC. Despite the apparent circumstances of this accident, police have indicated that no charges will be filed against the driver of the Porsche.
