Martha Taylor of Galloway, New Jersey was seriously injured on December 27 when the minivan she was riding in struck a highway guardrail.
The accident happened on U.S. Highway 17 and it took rescuers about two hours to free Ms. Taylor from the crashed vehicle. Ms. Taylor was transported by air ambulance to Norfolk for medical care.

This accident involves a somewhat unusual situation in that it was apparently the victim’s husband who was driving the vehicle and lost control causing the wreck.
