Roxboro Man Seriously Injured in Accident That Killed Other Driver

A gentleman named Keith Howerton was operating his Jeep on Lynch Store Road when another driver crossed the center line and struck Mr. Howerton.  Tragically, the other driver did not survive the accident and Mr. Howerton suffered serious injuries.

Investigating police indicate that speed was a factor in the accident but that alcohol was not.  As a result of the accident, both drivers were initially pinned within their vehicles.  The accident happened around 8:00 am.
