Walter Wuchiski Injured in Currituck Sound Watercraft Accident

Corolla, NC (June 26, 2020) – Walter Wuchiski Injured in Currituck Sound Watercraft Accident

A gentleman from Connecticut named Walter Wuchiski was injured in an accident involving two personal watercrafts in the Currituck Sound on Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened around 2:00 pm when a personal watercraft driven by a New Jersey man hit the watercraft operated by Mr. Wuchiski.  Mr. Wuchiski and his granddaughter were both injured.

The granddaughter was apparently treated and released from the Outer Banks Hospital while Mr. Wuchiski required additional care at Sentara Hospital in Norfolk.

The man from New Jersey has been charged by the North Carolina Department of Wildlife with careless and negligent operation of a personal watercraft resulting in injury.
