Wilmington NC Accident Results in One Death

A terrible accident near the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge in Wilmington has resulted in the death of one person.

The accident happened on Sunday night at the intersection of S. 3rd Street and Wooster Street when a woman apparently ran a red light and struck another car.  The driver of the first car was tragically killed in the accident.  Two passengers in the woman’s car were injured.
