A very unfortunate accident on Tuesday has seriously injured a Winterville man who was riding a moped.
The wreck apparently happened when a Greenville police officer struck the moped driver while both were headed in the same direction on the highway. The moped driver, seventeen year old David Lee Haddock, was transported to the hospital and is in serious condition.
