A gentleman named Michael Kluttz was tragically killed on April 12, 2020 when he was hit by a vehicle while he was riding his bike near Salisbury, North Carolina.

The wreck happened on East Innes Street near the intersection with the Interstate 85 ramp. After a lengthy investigation that included interviews with witnesses, police have now charged a woman with running a red light in connection with the wreck.

The woman has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.

Bicyclist Tommy Whitehurst was seriously injured in a bicycle crash on Friday evening in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The crash happened near the intersection of West Ehringhaus Street and Westover Street and involved a Nissan Rogue.
