Winston-Salem NC Motorcycle Wreck Results in Serious Injuries

Winston-Salem, NC (January 18, 2021) – Winston-Salem motorcycle wreck on University Parkway seriously injures biker.

A motorcyclist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina was seriously injured on Saturday when he was hit by a car. The wreck happened on University Parkway when a woman attempted to turn left in a Walmart parking lot and crossed the path of the biker.

The 50-year old biker was not able to stop his Kawasaki motorcycle and collided with the women’s Chevrolet. The biker was taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the Chevrolet was cited for an unsafe movement violation.

A gentleman named John Cobb was tragically killed on Sunday evening in a moped accident in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The tragic accident happened at the intersection of Beesen Dairy Road and Old Belews Creek Road. According to available information, Mr. Cobb was travelling south on Old Belews Creek Road when a man driving a Mercedes-Benz vehicle turned across the path of Mr. Cobb.

Mr. Cobb was thrown from his moped and determined to be dead at the scene.

Winston-Salem Moped Rider Killed in Crash With Mercedes Vehicle

Winston-Salem, NC (July 7, 2020) – Winston-Salem, NC Moped Rider Killed in Crash with Mercedes Vehicle

A gentleman was tragically killed in a moped accident in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Sunday evening. The wreck happened around 10:00 pm on Old Belews Creek Road.

According to available information, the gentleman driving the moped was headed south on Old Belews Creek Road when a Mercedes attempted to turn left onto Beeson Dairy Road and hit the moped.

After being hit, the moped rider was knocked into the road where he was hit by a second Mercedes and a truck.

The moped rider died at the scene.

As of now, no charges have been filed but we would expect that the driver of the first Mercedes may be charged with a misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
