Carteret County North Carolina Wreck Sends Several People to Hospital

A terrible wreck on Friday afternoon involving a teen driver has sent several people to the hospital in Carteret County, North Carolina.

The wreck apparently happened when a woman was turning onto Highway 24 near Red Barn Road when she was hit head-on by a 16 year old driver. There were three people in each car. One of the passenger’s in the teen’s car was taken to Vidant Medical Center for treatment of serious head injuries.
