Coats, North Carolina Wreck Kills One, Injures Another

As reported by the Fayetteville Observer, a tragic wreck near Coats last Saturday has claimed one life and injured a second person. The wreck apparently happened when Larry Surles fell asleep and drifted across the center line of Highway 55. He then hit a car driven by Amanda Hicks of Coats. Mr. Surles was killed in the wreck and Ms. Hicks suffered a broken leg. Click here for the story.
