Jogger in Hope Mills Seriously injured After Struck By Passing SUV

A gentleman who appears to be affiliated with the military was seriously injured while jogging on Rockfish Road on Friday morning. The jogger was apaprently hit by a passing SUV around 5:20 a.m. He is being treated at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville.

It is not clear what caused this wreck but the article inidcates that no charges have been filed. Hopefully, the jogger will be OK.
