Pamlico County Wreck Causes One Death, Driver Charged With DWI

A terrible wreck in Pamlico County on Saturday morning has cost the life of one woman.

The wreck happened on Creek Point Road when a Jeep driven by Joshua Hardison ran off the road and struck a tree. A passenger in the car, Amber Jones, was killed in the wreck.

Polcie say that Mr. Hardison was driving too fast for the conditions and had been drinking. Charges are pending.
