FARMVILLE, NC (May 26, 2020) – Darren Buckrham and John Parks Killed In Farmville NC Crash
A tragic accident on Friday near Farmville, North Carolina has resulted in the death of two gentleman. The wreck happened around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Wesley Church Road and U.S. Highway 264 Alternate and claimed the lives of Darren Buckrham and John Parks.
According to available information, a tractor-trailer in which Mr. Buckrham and Mr. Parks were riding was full of cargo and overturned.
The North Carolina State Highway is investigating the crash. However, a significant issue in this crash appears to be the manner in which the truck was loaded. An imbalanced load or a load where the center of gravity is too high can create very dangerous situations and lead to overturning wrecks such as this case. Hopefully, the highway patrol will investigate the loading on this tractor-trailer to determine if this played a role in this tragic accident.
