Bicyclist Kenneth Wells Seriously Injured in Wanchese North Carolina Hit-and-Run Crash

Wanchese, N.C. (November 3, 2020) – Kenneth Wells Seriously Injured in Wanchese, NC Hit-and-Run Bike Crash

A gentleman named Kenneth Wells was seriously injured on Sunday morning near Wanchese, North Carolina when he was hit while riding his bicycle.  The accident happened on Harbor Road around 12:30 am when a woman hit Mr. Wells from behind.

The woman, a 45 year old from Manteo, fled the scene after the collision but was later caught and arrested.  She has been charged with felony hit-and-run.

Mr. Wells was transported to Sentara Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia for treatment of his serious injuries.  Also, Mr. Wells’ dog and longtime companion was killed in the wreck.
