Burlington, North Carolina Pedestrian Severely Injured After Struck By Car

A terrible wreck on Thursday night in Burlington has resulted in serious injuries to a pedestrian.

The pedestria, De Weng Huang, was walking along the edge of Garden Road when he was hit by a passing car.  As a result of his injuries, Mr. Huang was taken by helicopter to UNC Hospitals in critical condition.  This wreck is apparently still under investigation.

Hopefully, Mr. Huang will recover from his injuries and the police investigation will uncover what happened in this accident.
