Fayetteville, NC (January 6, 2021) – Accident involving truck and Parks and Recreation employee results in fatality and serious injuries.
The serious accident happened on Monday on Airport Road in Fayetteville, North Carolina. According to available information, an employee of the Fayetteville Parks and Recreation department had stopped a truck in the left lane of Airport Road while the employee planted shrubs in the median.
A truck traveling in the left lane hit the back of the Parks and Recreation truck which then struck the employee. A person in the truck passed away from injuries sustained in the crash.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and if we learn more information about what happened here, we will update this post.
