As reported by the Raleigh News and Observer, Gary Wayne Greenwaldt was killed and Rebecca Ann Tilley was critically injured in a motorcycle wreck on Sunday in Smithfield, North Carolina. Keith McClain of Smithfield has been charged with driving while impaired in causing the wreck.
Our sympathies are with the Greenwaldt family and we certainly hope Ms. Tilley recovers. This accident is another in a bad run of motorcyle wrecks that have recently happened on North Carolina roads. Most often, the wrecks are the result of other drivers not paying attention to a motorcyclist.
