A woman named Tracey Hulin was seriously injured in a head-on collision on Michael Road near the small North Carolina community of Tyro. The accident happened on Monday evening when a woman driving a 2013 Chevrolet Spark crossed the center line and hit Ms. Hulin’s vehicle head-on. Ms. Hulin was seriously injured and was transported by AirCare to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital which provides trauma care for seriously injured accident victims. A passenger in Ms. Hulin’s car named Brandon Gregg was also injured as was the driver of the Chevrolet.
The driver of the Chevrolet was charged with driving left of center and an unsafe movement violation. It is not clear what caused her to drive left of the center line but there were apparently no signs of impairment.
