Impaired Driver Causes Serious Wreck on Capital Boulevard in Raleigh, North Carolina

A serious wreck at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Highwoods Boulevard on Saturday evening involving an impaired driver caused serious injuries. The wreck involved a man driving an orange pickup that t-boned a silver SUV.
The man driving the pickup was charged with several crimes including felony serious injury by vehicle, driving while impaired, and failure to reduce speed.
Two women in the Silver SUV were injured and taken to the hospital. One of the women apparently has serious injuries including head trauma and broken bones.
