Impaired Driver Strikes Broken-Down Car on I-440 Killing Adolphus Cannady and Injuring Donsha Worsley

In a tragic and terrible wreck, a suspected impaired driver struck a broken down driver along Interstate 440 early Saturday morning near New Bern Avenue.  Apparently, Adolphus Cannady and Donsha Worsley were pushing their broken down car when it was hit by a car driven by Michael Newkirk.  Mr. Newkirk has been charged with driving while impaired and felony hit and run.  Click here for more.
