Catawba County, NC (June 29, 2020) – Kevin Shoemaker Killed in Catawaba County, NC Motorcycle Crash
A gentleman named Kevin Shoemaker was tragically killed in a motorcycle crash on Saturday evening in Catawba County, North Carolina.
The wreck happened around 8:50 pm on Robinwood Road near Grier Street when a woman driving a 1999 Ford Escort turned across Mr. Shoemaker’s path. Apparently, the woman was attempting to turn left into a driveway.
The 23-year old woman driving the Escort was charged with felony death by motor vehicle and driving while impaired. Mr. Shoemaker was 50 years old and from Hickory, North Carolina.
