A terrible accident in Carolina beach has resulted in critical injuries to a Wilmington man named Larry Shepherd.
Apparently, Mr. Shepherd was riding his scooter on Lake Park Boulevard on Saturday night when a car turned across his path. Police are still investigating the crash.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, we have now learned that Mr. Shepherd has passed away as a result of his injuries. The Shepherd family has our deepest sympathies.
