A gentleman named Narciso Villanueva from LaGrange, North Carolina was killed Sunday evening in an accident near Hugo, North Carolina. The accident happened at around 6:45 pm on the Grifton Hugo Road. According to available information, Mr. Villanueva was driving a car that collided with a pickup truck driven by Linwood Suggs who is also from LaGrange. Mr. Suggs survived the collision and was transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC for treatment.
Pictures from the accident scene suggest that this was a head-on collision. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is still investigating this accident and more information may be available once the SHP completes its investigation.
