A terrible accident on Interstate 85 in Davidson County has resulted in the death of one woman early Sunday morning.
The tragic accident happened when a Honda Accord was hit from behind by a vehicle that then went off the roadway. The driver of the Honda Accord apparently got out to check on the driver of the second car. After she got out, a tractor-trailer then hit the Accord which resulted in the death of a passenger in the Accord.
Reports indicate that the investigation of this accident is on-going and that no charges have been followed. However, it would seem that the driver of the tractor-trailer should have reduced speed to avoid the stopped Honda.
