Late Friday morning a speeding Cadillac apparently rear-ended a Honda Civic near the Yadkin River bridge on Interstate 77 near the Surry County and Yadkin County line.
The accident happened around 11:55 a.m. Apparently, the Cadillac struck the Honda and then bounced off a guardrail. The Honda spun and also hit a guardrail. As a result, at least one person was transported from the scene by helicopter and two others were taken to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital by ambulance.
