Tractor Trailer Runs Stop Sign Killing Virginia Native Holly Johnson
A terrible accident involving a tractor trailer has claimed the life of a Virginia woman named Holly Johnson.
The accident apparently happened when a tractor trailer ran a stop sign near Rockingham, North Carolina and hit a car transporting Mrs. Johnson, her husband and two children and a relative. The family had been vacationing in Myrtle Beach and were returning home. Mrs. Johnson’s husband and the other passengers are being treated for severe injuries in North Carolina hospitals.

Tractor trailer accidents are among the worst on the roadways. A fully loaded tractor trailer can weigh up to 80,000 pounds which is often 40 times heavier than a car. Under these circumstances, the forces exerted by the tractor-trailer are overwhelming and it is a miracle that anyone survived this accident.
