A terrible and tragic accident near Carthage NC has resulted in the death of a leader in the local community named Jeri Robinson. According to available information, Ms. Robinson was driving on Vass-Carthage Road on Saturday night when she was hit by a pickup truck driven by an unlicensed driver.
Apparently, the pickup truck driver failed to stop at a stop sign. He has been been charged with several crimes including misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
Ms. Robinson was a minister at the Church of the Living God on Main Street in Troy, North Carolina.
