FARMVILLE, NC (May 26, 2020) – Darren Buckrham and John Parks Killed In Farmville NC Crash

A tragic accident on Friday near Farmville, North Carolina has resulted in the death of two gentleman.  The wreck happened around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Wesley Church Road and U.S. Highway 264 Alternate and claimed the lives of Darren Buckrham and John Parks.

According to available information, a tractor-trailer in which Mr. Buckrham and Mr. Parks were riding was full of cargo and overturned.

Goldsboro, NC (May 15, 2020) – Donald Gray Killed in Goldsboro NC Crash

A gentleman named Donald Gray was tragically killed on Thursday morning near Goldsboro, North Carolina when he was hit from behind by a tractor-trailer.

The tragic wreck happened on US Highway 70 Bypass at around 6:30 in the morning near the Wayne County and Lenoir County line.  Mr. Gray was driving a farm service truck when a UPS tractor-trailer struck him from behind.

HENDERSONVILLE, NC (May 13, 2020) – Joey Barnwell Killed in Hendersonville NC Accident

A gentleman named Joey Barnwell was tragically killed when a car wrecked in Hendersonville, North Carolina on May 6.  At the time of the incident, Mr. Barnwell was sitting in his office at Space Mini Storage at 4001 Asheville Highway.  A man driving north on the roadway apparently sideswiped another vehicle causing him to veer off the road and crash into Mr. Barnwell’s office.

Mr. Barnwell, who was 58 years old, was killed as a result.  The driver of the vehicle has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.

A very serious tractor-trailer wreck near Riegelwood, North Carolina in Columbus County has resulted in injuries to 10 people including several children.  According to available information, a Head Start School bus had stopped in the westbound lanes of US 74/76 to pickup a student when a tractor-trailer plowed into the back of the bus.

Reports indicate that the tractor-trailer driver was reaching down to pick up a cigarette and then looked up and tried to swerve but still hit the bus.  A Fed-Ex vehicle was behind the tractor-trailer and apparently also struck the school bus.  Reports indicate that the bus may have rolled several times during the collision.

Two adults and eight children on the bus were injured.  Two of the victims were transported by Air Ambulance to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  The extent of injuries is unknown.

A gentleman named Gildardo Gutierrez-Ortiz was seriously injured in a fatal crash near Troy, North Carolina on Saturday afternoon.

The crash happened on NC Highway 134 at around 5:45 pm.  According to available information, a young man driving a Lexus crossed the center line and hit Mr. Gutierrez-Ortiz in the northbound lane of travel.  Tragically, the young man driving the the Lexus did not survive.

A passenger in Mr. Ortiz’s vehicle was also injured but not severely.

Pamela Moore Injured Greenville NC Crash

A woman named Pamela Moore was injured in a crash this past weekend when she was hit by a fleeing vehicle.  The wreck happened around 1:00 am when Greenville Police attempted to stop a vehicle displaying fictitious tags.  The vehicle fled the police and police did not attempt a pursuit.

A few minutes later, Greenville police discovered that the fleeing vehicle had struck another car at the intersection of West 5th Street and Ford Street.  Apparently, the driver of the fleeing vehicle did not survive.

Jarrett Elliott Injured Denton NC Crash With Texting Driver

A man named Jarrett Elliott was seriously injured on Wednesday afternoon when he was hit by an SUV while driving a tractor.  The wreck happened on NC Highway 49 at around 4:20 pm as Mr. Elliott was traveling north on Highway 49.  A man driving a Toyota SUV also traveling north on Highway 49 hit Mr. Elliott from behind.

Mr. Elliott was seriously injured in the crash.  The driver of the SUV, a 19 year old man, has been charged with texting while driving.

A young man named Lucas Wigfall was tragically killed on Tuesday morning in a Fayetteville, North Carolina collision involving a stopped tractor-trailer.

The wreck happened on Raeford Road near Pinewood Terrace.  A tractor-trailer apparently became stuck on the side of the road and left its trailer portion protruding into the roadway.  The driver of the tractor-trailer had apparently failed to place any type of warning markers around his truck as required by USDOT Regulations as adopted by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Mr. Wigfall, who was 26 years old and from Fayetteville, was in the front passenger seat of the vehicle that struck the trailer.  The driver of the vehicle, Janet Jackson, and two additional passengers were injured in the crash and taken to the hospital for treatment.

A very serious crash in Harnett County, North Carolina near Lillington and Buies Creek has resulted in several serious injuries including injuries to two Campbell University students.

The wreck happened at the intersection of Old Buies Creek Road and Sheriff Johnson Road when a car failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck.  Two victims from the crash were life-flighted to Duke University Medical Center and UNC Hospitals.  Two other victims were seriously injured.

Two of the victims are students at nearby Campbell University.

A very serious collision in Gastonia, North Carolina involving a tractor-trailer has resulted in one death.  The wreck happened around 6:50 pm on East Ozark Avenue near Pear Street not far from the Interstate 85 on-ramp.

Apparently, the tractor-trailer was pulling out of a parking area when a man driving a 2010 Pontiac hatchback went under the trailer as the tractor-trailer entered the roadway. The man driving the Pontiac was pronounced dead at the scene.
